NOJA Power was established in 2002 to manufacture high voltage switchgear and provide high voltage switchgear to the world. Today, the company has three manufacturing locations in Australia, Brazil and Mexico and specialises in the manufacture of low and medium voltage switchgear assemblies and Recloser Products for industry, infrastructure and electricity distribution utilities.
Initially, as a small company, Noja Power had a range of different systems but nothing was consolidated. With basic accounting software package, the organisation found it hard to streamline key processes and enable information flow between departments.
According to Quynh Anh Le, Group Finance Director at Noja Power, the basic accounting package was no longer enough to enable the company’s growth. “It wasn’t the full ERP system that we were looking for. As a Finance Director, I am looking for the real-time information that I can manage and monitor daily” she says.
Noja Power chose SAP Business One because of the integration of the entire manufacturing process for the organisation. The organisation utilises the HANA version of the system for fast and accurate data analytics to fuel real-time decision making. Noja Power has also recently augmented their SAP Business One investment with the SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer platform (CRM).

From the purchasing of parts, control and invoicing, Noja Power now uses the SAP system to import the service record and the serial number of everything they manufacture. The service team is also able to track warranty and provide better service for parts and components.
Noja also uses the many SAP Business One functionalities extensively to make data entry as simple and reliable as possible for the staff. Where they previously entering data multiple times, the team now enters it once.
As an example, Purchase Order approvals are managed on the go by few key people within the organisation through the app on their smartphones or other devices.
Directors, sales staff and internationally based representatives use the iPhone / iPad application to provide a variety of functionality including stock, pricing, dashboards, as well as service and warranty support using the equipment cards. Customer’s accounts status can be viewed while visiting the customer and CRM data is also accessed using the business partner information.

According to Martin Van Der Linde, Global Marketing Manager at Noja Power, “The HANA version of SAP Business One allows us to generate more concise reports so in terms of managing the business as we grow it is important to have access to that information.”
Neil O’Sullivan continues “with SAP Business One I am able to customise dashboards that allow me to keep my finger on the pulse. I can quickly identify if there is an issue and address that issue very quickly through the power of the dashboards”.

If SAP Business One allowed Noja Power to become a better functioning business through better information flow and anywhere access to key information, the SAP Hybris Sales Cloud CRM system has allowed Noja Power to better understand and communicate with the customers out in the field.
Hybris Sales Cloud has ultimately allowed Noja Power’s sales and marketing people to access all the information they need while they are on the road serving customers.
